2. Describe a traditional classroom. (You may embed pictures or videos.)
Answer:
Based on John Dewey's idea that a traditional classroom is like pouring water from a jug into cups, traditional classroom performs a learning process in which the teacher pours information to student learners. The classroom setting is usually arranged with neat columns and rows of chairs while the teacher stands in front or sits behind her desk reading the texts contain in the book in front of the class. Though it maintains classroom discipline and convenience for the teacher in controlling the classroom, it is still not the precise way because after spending so many minutes, the student learner's attention is no longer focusing on the teacher due to boredom, restlessness, tiredness and drowsiness. The student learners remain as passive recipients of information given by their teacher and viceversa , the teacher is considered as the sole provider of information.
3. Describe an SCL classroom. (You may embed pictures and videos.)
Answer:
Student Centered learning classroom is a setting which performs the learning process with the help of I CT's and educational theory such as constructivism and cooperative learning. Desiring to gain effectiveness, efficiency and economy in administration and instruction is the basis of having this type of approach. The student learners do not remain passive recipients of information instead, they now become active learners who can interact with other learners and demonstrate independence and self-awareness in the learning process. Generally, there is a departure from traditional instruction and an arrival of a more flexible and constructive way of classroom instruction. Though it's modernizing the way of teaching but still the teacher is and will always be the facilitator, hence, he or she is irreplaceable.

the computer can provide any amount of information in various ways, such as sound, text, graphics, and video. Apparently, due to high innovation nowadays, the internet can access global information resources that includes the latest news, weather forecast, sports and the like. We can therefore conclude that internet on Education can be a great source for kinds of Educational resources in the internet. It is not hard for the teacher to gather information for presentations because this is a useful tool for them to use.

Constructive tool- the computer itself can be used to deploy or organize data and presentations. We can manipulate information, visualize one's understanding, and build new knowledge. It allows users to present their ideas in attractive format.

Co-constructive tool- students can construct tools to work cooperatively and construct a shared understanding of new knowledge. One example of co-construction, is the use of electronic whiteboard where students may post notices to a shared document. students may also co-edit the same document from their homes.

Situating tool- By means of virtual reality (RS) extension systems, the computer can create 3-D images on display to give the user the feeling that are situated in virtual environment. Mud Object-oriented(MOOs), Multi-user shared hallucination(MUSHs) are the obvious examples of situating system.

SUMMARY, APPLICATION AND EVALUATION

Educational technology consist of different theory involving procedures, ideas, devices, and organization for analyzing problems, implementing, evaluating and managing solutions to those problems. It also consists of designs and environments that engage learners and reliable techniques or methods for engaging learning such as cognitive learning strategies and critical thinking skills. It has an integrated principles that explain and predict observed events. Educational technology is a field involved in applying a complex integrated process to analyze and solve problems in human learning. It is concerned with the practice of usung educational methods and resources for the ultimate goal of facilitating the learning process. It is the application of scientific findings in our method, process or procedure of working in the field of education in order for an effective learning. It embraces curriculum and instructional design, learning environment, theories of teaching learning. It is also a field study and a profession. It is the use of all human inventions for teachers to realize their mission to in order that students learn. There are other terms that are associated with educational technology in education, instructional technology and technology integration in education books, educational media. This is very important in educative process as we go in our teaching profession.
I have a lots of learning's that I gain in Educational Technology. I learned that throgh technology it can make our work easier and faster. Through technology we can discover new things from our inventions, it give us chance to explore something new. So in this aspects our critical thinking will be enhance. I learned also teaching with different modern strategies used such as teaching with contrived experience, teaching with dramatized experience and I know also the power of film audio. and television inside the classroom. I learned also different visual symbols that we can apply in our field of specialization being a teacher.
This learning's that I gained in educational technology 1 is very important if I am given a chance to become a teacher. I apply all this learning's to become an effective teacher. I will apply modern teaching methods and strategies that I am cited above in order for the learners to learn. I will employ activities that develop their thinking skills because being a teacher we should mold the mind of the learners correctly. In order to achieve this I will apply my learning's in EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY 1.
